One of the most comprehensive pictorial guides on the subject, this scarce out-of-print book contains over 5,000 black and white photographs and detailed line drawings depicting examples of early American furniture.  Each picture is captioned with a terse description, date, maker, and origin when known.  This book was first issued in two volumes in 1928.  This book is the later publication with two volumes of information combined in one bible-thick text.
